
As a part of the Project of Expansion of Dubai International Airport, (DCA) appointed Engineering Consultants International (Pvt.) Ltd., to carry out the detailed Pavement Evaluation of one of the two Runways at Dubai International Airport, designated as 12R/30L. This Runway was abandoned for the flight operations due to the appearance of distress signals.
To make this Runway operational it had been decided to execute a detailed and comprehensive pavement evaluation programme, encompassing Destructive and State Of The Art Non-Destructive (Heavy Falling Weight Deflectometer Technology).

The other components of the report where the detailing of the various project activities, results of field investigations and conclusions drawn from the study and recommendations to address the problems revealed during the course of study
