Project Description

Under this project 4027 water courses are renovated in Barani and Canal Irrigated areas. These water courses are located all over the country; Punjab 2,000; Sindh 980; NWFP 505; Balochistan 420; FATA 104; ICTA 18.

Services

Engineering Consultants have deployed several teams of engineers for the implementation of the project in Sindh, Balochistan, NWFP and Tribal Areas.

The responsibilities of Engineers include the following activities:

• Checking of the design of water courses and field channels

• Checking of the alignment and level of the watercourses and field channels

• Quality Control during the construction of watercourses and water storage tanks

• Physical checking and verification of bills submitted by OFWM Directorates

• Training to the field staff for the measurement of flow and calculating of seepage losses

• Precise Land Levelling
