Project Description
This major trunk sewer is in the bed of the Lyari river and is the sewage artery for the areas of Federal `B' Area, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, (partly) Baldia & Lyari taking the flows to the new Muripur Sewage Treatment Plant. These flows are presently discharged untreated into Karachi Harbour causing pollution & major health risk.
